Asan Karobar Scheme Key Features
We are informing you about some of the important features of the Asan Karobar Scheme. Know all the features,
- The maximum limit of Asan Karobar Scheme is PKR 1 million
- The loan tenure issued by this scheme is three years
- There will be a revolving credit facility for 12 months
- The repayment period of Asan Karobar is 24 equal monthly installments after the first year
- After getting the loan, you will have to repay the loan with installments after three months
How to use
- Vendor and supplier payments
- Utility bills, government fees and issued taxes
- Cash withdrawal is allowed up to 25% for various business purposes
- Can make digital transactions through POS and mobile apps.
- The interest rate of the borrower is zero percent.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility criteria for asan karobar Card issued by the Government of Punjab,
- All small business owners across Punjab such as (SEs)
- Age limit is approximately 21 to 57 years
- The borrower must be a citizen of Punjab
- A valid CNIC and mobile phone number registered in the name of the applicant
- The applicant must have a business in Punjab
- The applicant must have satisfactory credit and psychometric assessment
- Only one application can be made per individual and business
- You must not have taken a loan from any scheme

How to Apply for Asan Karobar Scheme
If you want to apply for the Easy Business Scheme, then you are being told the procedure,
- You can submit your application for the Easy Business Scheme digitally through the PITB portal.
- Non-refundable processing fee of approximately PKR 500.
- Your CNIC will be digitally verified. Creditworthiness and business premises will be verified by authorized agencies.
Loan usage and Repayment Details
- The first installment limit is 50% which you can use within the first six months.
- The grace period will be for three months after the card is issued.
- After three months of availing the loan, you will start repaying the loan, which will be at least five percent of the outstanding loan amount (principal portion only)
- The second installment limit is up to 50% and will be registered as satisfactory utilization regular payment and.
- The funds are restricted to business related purposes and non-essential transactions such as personal use entertainment are prohibited.
- The remaining amount after the first year will be repaid in equal monthly installments (EMIs) over a period of two years.
Charges / Fees
- Annual fee of asan Karobar scheme will be charged from the approved limit of PKR 25,000 + FED due.
- Additional charges in Asan Business Card Scheme such as Life Insurance Card fee and delivery charges which are applicable under the scheme.
- Late payment charges may be levied as per the bank’s policy charges schedule in case of late payment of installments.
Security Details
- A digitally signed personal guarantee will be provided by the borrower.
- Life insurance has been included in the portfolio.
- The Urban Unit will physically verify the business premises within six months of loan approval and annually thereafter.
Key Conditions
- The funds released by the Business Scheme will be given only in case of business establishment.
- Registration with PRA/FBR is mandatory within six months of issuance of this card.
- Only one application is allowed per person
